Dearden & Associates Insurance Group is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and currently has agents serving clients in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, and Texas. We are in the process of expanding into Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, and Montana to serve people and businesses that have been referred to us from our satisfied clients and friends.

Our company was founded by Dan Dearden as a Health & Life agency. He and his wife Sandy believed that Utah's small business owners, families, and individuals needed a company commited to knowledgable advice, professional service, and a caring attitude for clients large and small. The company began to attract customers from the beginning looking for something more from their healthcare and life insurance agents. Dan earned a reputation for designing Employee Benefit Programs for business owners that resembled the offerings of large corporations, while helping the business owners and employees coordinate efforts to contain premium costs.

The same care and attention to detail was provided to families, couples, and individuals looking for personal health plans, life insurance, and disability income protection. Face-to-face meetings and telephone conversations have led to thousands of people obtaining high quality, affordable health plans. Many of these folks had been passed over by two or three agents not interested in dealing with the underwriting of their medical concerns.

Over the years, a surprising percentage of our Group Health & Dental clients lamented that they could not obtain quality service and affordable rates on their Business Insurance. "Why don't you guys do business insurance too?" was a frequent question. Eventually in the Summer of 2007, Dearden & Associates lauched a Commercial Business department - and the result has been fantastic!

Today we specialize in all aspects of Commercial Business Insurance, Employer Sponsored Healthcare Plans, and Employee Benefits - every aspect of Risk Management for the business owner. In addition, we continue to serve Individuals & Families with our highly respected Personal Health & Life Division. Our clientele comes from every walk of life - from professional athletes and CEOs to starving students and young parents!
